Terms
The agreement, in plain language.
These terms describe what DataFawn provides, what we ask of you, and how billing and cancellation work. They are a product description, not legal advice.
The service
DataFawn analyses search data, website evidence, and live search results for websites you are authorized to manage, and produces prioritized recommendations and measured outcomes.
What we do not promise
- No ranking, traffic, or revenue guarantee. Search results are controlled by search engines, not by DataFawn.
- Recommendations are advisory. You decide what to apply to your website.
- Analysis depends on third-party data and providers. When a provider is unavailable, DataFawn reports a partial result rather than inventing one.
AI limitations
- Explanations and recommendations are generated by an AI model and are always advisory — they are drafts to review, not instructions.
- DataFawn answers only from evidence already saved for your workspace. When the evidence is insufficient, it says so instead of guessing.
- A measured outcome is correlated with the measured window; it does not establish causation, and DataFawn never claims a change definitely caused a result.
- You are responsible for reviewing AI output before applying it to your website, including factual claims, competitor references, and brand voice.
Data and deletion
What DataFawn stores, which processors it uses, how long it keeps data, and how deletion works are described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting a workspace removes its data and cancels its subscription; that action cannot be undone.
Your responsibilities
- Connect only websites and Search Console properties you are authorized to manage.
- Keep your account credentials and share links under your control.
- Do not use DataFawn to attack, scrape, or overload systems you do not own, and do not attempt to reach other customers' workspaces.
- Do not resell raw provider output as a standalone data feed.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record.
- Plan changes and cancellation are handled through Paddle. Paddle shows the applicable amount and timing before confirmation; DataFawn updates entitlements after the verified Paddle webhook. Access and capacity follow the plan Paddle reports as in force.
- You may cancel at any time from the customer portal. Access continues until the end of the paid period unless you delete the workspace.
- Deleting a workspace cancels its subscription immediately and removes its data. That action cannot be undone.
Beta software
DataFawn is in active development. Features may change, and we will tell you about changes that affect stored data or billing.
